Gender inequality has long been an issue in almost every country in the world. The seriousness of the problem just varies according to developed, developing, and undeveloped countries. Gender inequality has been regarded as a struggle led only by woman for woman. However, things have started to change. In recent years, men have started to stand up together with women to address discrimination and inequality faced by women. Gender equality is a human right issue, not a woman’s issue. We should address this global issue together as a whole and take responsibility of helping women, or girls out in the world who are suffering.
