Korea vs Japan 2019-08-11 오전 11:56:00

Recently, Japan and Republic of Korea had a lot of disputes. One of the topic of those disputes were about Japanese Military Sex Slaves that happened at the period of World War 2. The government of South Korea claimed that Korea had not received sincere and serious apologies from the government of Japan, while Japan claims that they had enough conclusions. Since South Korea was continuously asking for a better apology, Japan showed disappointment, and started to retaliate on Korea using economic power. Japan started to restrict exports on three crucial materials for Korean semiconductor. Plus, Japan erased Korea’s name on their white list countries of trade. As a result, Korea’s economy started to brake apart. Korea’s stock price index, KOSPI, dropped tremendously, from about 2100 to 1860. It has been three and a half year since Korea dropped lower than 1900. Korea Exchange market decide to activate “side car” which stops the transaction for about 5 minute to give the people time to think and decide cautiously. Even with the best effort. Korea’s exchange rate rose tremendously, depreciating Korean Won. It is curious how South Korean Government will react to this economic recession.
