The 2013 Seoul Invention festival 2013-12-14 ¿ÀÈÄ 10:15:00

The 2013 Invention Festival took place in COEX Hall A in Seoul from November 29 to December 2. The Invention Festival, which started in 1982, is an event annually organised by Korean Patent Organization to give nameless inventors an opportunity to introduce their inventions to the public. Every year, a lot of inventors all around the world take part in this event to let people know about the consequences of their creativity and efforts.

This year, many famous companies as well as nameless individual inventors took part in The 2013 Invention Festival. The event was also a good chance for those who have interest in new products and technologies. In each booth, a lot of people are seen to be amazed while examining the new products on display. Especially, many people showed their interest in EDISON 3D printer, which can print out everything in three dimensions. It can print out the figures of people.

Another item that many people got interested in was the ¡®Lifeline,¡¯ which is a metal box attached to your apartment. You can use this metal box(lifeline) for a lot of purposes: for example to escape fire and to hide from robbers.

The XO-COP, which is a quadcopter, and The WI-FI enlarging mechine, which can enlarge wi-fi to 5km radius, were also very popular among the viewers.

Mr. Cha, Heun Tae, a patent lawer said that youth is the future of our country and hoped that a lot of young people get interested in science and technology and will be able to contribute to the development of our country.
