The Pyeongchang Winter Olympics is coming up gradually. Few weeks ago, Tv program name 'Infinite challenge' broadcasted about bobsleigh. In the winter Olympic, there are many events to use sled. One of the most exiting sled sports is luge. This sport is made in the Alps nation such as Switzerland, Austria. It`s similar with bobsleigh or skeleton but luge have different aspects. A Bobsleigh and skeleton is used to ride sit on the sled. But a luge is used to lie on it and a luge `s track is different too. It 1000 to 1300 meters long and the speeds can reach up to 120km/h. This sport has relay too. When sled is moving, the person who is riding in controls directions by shifting weight. The International Luge Federation is made in 1957. It`s divided in to Bobsleigh skeleton and luge. ( FIBT ), ( FIL ). It was split from the International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation.
