It was really hot and humid. The heat, however, could not defeat the passion of 90 thousand audiences. From July 22th to 24th, Jisan valley Rock Festival was held in Jisan Resort, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Its full name is ‘2016 Jisan Valley Rock Music&Arts Festival.’ The most remarkable point is this rock festival is tearing down the walls of music genres. It was the music festival that included various genres of music. So, people could enjoy not only rock music but also Pop, Hiphop, EDM, R&B, and many more.

There were a lot of zones such as food&beverage zone. So, people could enjoy the festival with tasty snacks. Also, there was a workshop, so people could spend enjoyable time by making masks and badges.

This ‘Valley Rock Festival’ has attracted many people’s attention due to the line-up of fabulous artists. Especially, the appearance of foreign artists that we cannot see easily in Korea has become a big issue.

The news that Red Hot Chili Peppers is coming to Korea blew many people’s mind. It is because it has been really long since they visited Korea 14 years ago. Also, Troye Sivan, who has been known for a singer-songwriter and actor, gathered many people. He said that he expected just 30 people would come to see him. He sang and danced with joyfulness, making people excited.
British singer-songwriter Birdy visited Korea for the first time like Troye did. She sang her famous songs beautifully, for instance, Keeping your head up, Skinny love, Wild horses, and etc. Her exhilarating songs made people dance and yell out a cheer.
The world-famous DJ, Zedd showed thrilling performance at Big top stage, which is the biggest stage in this festival.
The people were still in front of the stages until 2 a.m. Besides, a lot of people arrived at Jisan at that time to enjoy hiphop concerts. Heize, Truedy, Zico, Dean, C Jamm, and many other hiphop artists came to Jisan and held their concerts.
The final performance of this festival was performed by Disclosure. They performed with a special guest, Brandon Reilly.

The reason why this festival was cheerful was because of the audiences. Because they showed amazing enthusiasm and excitement, the artists could be excited during the concert.
The ‘Jisan Valley Rock Festival’ was finished successfully with an awesome firework show.
