Last November 2, I visited the Sarangbang sanatorium(T : 031-8005-5300) which placed in Gyeonggi-do Yongin-si Giheung-gu Jungdong. There was grandmothers and grandfathers who were unwell. For giving comfort any better to elderly, I visited there because I was going to gain a hearing my violin recital.
I played 10 tunes like "Partitas second" by Bach and "Flying" by Steve Barakatt. The most beloved tunes were the "Arirang" and "Oumeona" by Jang Yunjeong. By chance, there was the one grandmather who had the birthday at November 2, that day. Therefore, I played a birthday congratulation for her. She was very happy, blissful, and thanks to me. I felt also happy and glad, too. However, I also felt regrettable because she didn't have a birthday with her family.
In the following manner, our society is become elderly society and being popular for nuclear family. Our society is also a drift towards elderlies being left with facilities and not living or doing something with their family because of being unwell or else. It doesn't force family's sacrifice that need to care for elderlies or patient, but we often need to visit so they don't feel lonely or solitary, of course. In fact, there were some elderlies who said that "I come up with my granddaughter when I see you." while I went there.
Take a look around. There are many elderlies who just feel happy if we are companion for elderlies. How about putting a time for being companion to elderly? I want to appreciate for granmother and grandfather who welcomed me warmly, watched my unskilled recital, and watched me for affectionate look.
