Originality vs Conformity
In some circumstances, we are encouraged to follow what others do. In other circumstances, however, we are told to be individuals and are reminded that is it okay to be different from everyone else. Some may argue that conformity may be appropriate in day-to-day life, but I think people who choose to be unique deserve the highest praise. There is definitely no answer to Originality vs Conformity, so what do you think? Which category do you fit currently fit in, and are you satisfied being in it?
Here is my opinion that I believe will further help our society flourish and nurture. The creation of Apple, was started by a man who decided to take on a different path from others. Before the founding of Apple, Steve Jobs sacrificed his college education in order to pursue his passion to build his own company. Thanks to this dedication Jobs made to design the world¡¯s first smartphone, the iphone, the world has begun developing various types of smart technology. Living in the year of 2015, it is hard to imagine a world without smart technology. If we continue to encourage people to step up and achieve each of their different aspirations like Steve Jobs, in the next few decades, the world we live in would become a planet with no impossible.
Not only entrepreneurs but take a look at scientists or researchers. Thanks to their passion of discovering and finding the hidden wonders in our world, people are educated about the new knowledge scientists discover and people¡¯s level of knowledge is brought up to a higher level.
Incentives such as awards, Nobel prizes and guinness world records have and will continue to motivate people to pursue various and unique findings about our planet. |
