Incheon, Korea has been selected as the location for the headquarters of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) on October 20, 2012. This is the result of all our efforts.
But, the GCF may not be familiar to many people yet.
Therefore, this article covers a brief explanation of the GCF and our practices in our daily lives for the country's green future.

Because of the remarkable development in science and technology, our life has become more convenient, but our planet Earth is getting sick. Global warming has caused a serious climate change and made it difficult for us to cope with it.
As a result, people in the world are worried. So, the GCF was established.

What is the "Green Climate Fund"? The GCF is a kind of World Bank to protect and preserve the environment. It is an international organization that manages the funds in order to reduce the impact of climate change, and help many nations with poor ecosystems. Also, it is the world's third largest international financial organization followed by the World Bank and IMF.
Korea will become an environmentally developed country and one of the most economically advanced countries on the globe.

Through what activities can children support the GCF? Do not leave leftover food, sort out garbage, unplug unused appliances, turn off unnecessary lights, maintain a proper indoor temperature and save water.

Such interest and participation would be a huge step toward Green Growth. It is our duty to keep the environment clean and healthy for the wellbeing of future generations. Then nature will reward us with a greater gift.
