Ferruccio Lamborghini opened in 1963.

He was the owner of tractor factory, and a rich man.
He bought a car, a Ferrari.
However, he found some faults with the Ferrari’s transmission.
He complained to the company, but his complaint was obstinately refused.
This gave him a great idea, "I will make better car than the Ferrari."

It took a long time, but at last he made a super car.
Today, this car is called a Lamborghini.

The first super car of Lamborghini was called Miura and was released in 1966.
At full speed, it ran around 280km per hour and had 350 HP(Horse Power).
It’s zero back speed was 6.2 seconds.
After Miura had shown, many people liked Miura.
So Lamborghini made the ‘Miura sv/j’ and the ‘Miura Roadster.'
In 2006, a Miura concept car was shown.
It was sold at 20,000 dollars a car in 1966, now a days at 118,000 dollars it was sold.
After Miura was released, Lamborghini made a next model, ‘Countach’ in 1974.
