Does ''Spoon Class Theory'' Ring a Bell? 2016-06-08 ¿ÀÈÄ 8:12:00

I recently read a an article titled 'Spoon Game on a Board' that allegorically portrayed a cross section of Korean society. In the board game, only two players are allowed to be 'golden spoons' and the rest, automatically set as 'earthen spoons' has to decide between two options: to enter an university or to find an employment. Participants move accordingly to their class' advantage in turn and decisions are obviously made in a democratic way. The 'earthen spoons' can easily take advantage from suggesting bills, however, the 'golden spoons' start with much more properties. Thanks to this financial gap, 'earthen spoons' often have to live without their own houses which might cause them to die in disease while the 'golden spoons' take benefit with their multiple houses. The basic objective of two classes were to maximize profit for golden spoons and to stay alive until the end for the earthen spoons. After the game was over, a player who played as a golden spoons said "I realized how inconvenient democracy is for a golden spoon. For ordinary people, democracy is the only reinforcement that makes them challenge."
