The mystery of William Shakespeare 2015-05-01 ¿ÀÈÄ 10:20:00

"Romeo and Juliet", "Macbeth", "Hamlet¡±. Who is the author that wrote such powerful poetic plays? Yes, it is the almighty William Shakespeare. However, are you aware that there have been critics questioning the ownership of his plays? There is both plausible evidence from people who don¡¯t believe in William Shakespeare¡¯s works and those who do.
Shakespeare had a very modest education in his lifetime. A mere 2 years of grammar school and literary training was all he had. However, his works were written with such perceptiveness and poetic power. Additionally, up to this day, there are no official records that attest Shakespeare to being an actor or playwright. Therefore there have been assumptions made over who the true author of Shakespeare¡¯s works. A man named Edward de Vere was highly predicted to be the true author due to his reckonable knowledge of aristocratic society and structural similarities between his poetry and Shakespeare¡¯s works.
On the other hand, evidence showing that Shakespeare truly did own his works exists. There is evidence that authors and critics at that time acknowledged his works, such as the two gentlemen of Verona, the Comedy of Errors, and King John. There are records of him as a member of the King men¡¯s theater company, which is a company that had performed seven of Shakespeare¡¯s plays.
What do you think? Could William Shakespeare truly not be the owner of his works? Would we be able to get an answer to this ongoing debatable question?
