May is the month of family. In this month, people think of their family and share love each other. The most special day is the Parents' Day on May 8th.
Parents' Day is the day when we feel grateful of our family and respect the adults and the old. It was made to celebrate Korea's tradition which respect the aged. On this day, sons and daughters say heartfelt words of gratitude to their parents. They also give carnations and presents as symbol of appreciation to their parents. Moreover, some people have their parents go tour for fun. There are many events that praise the devoted sons and daughters, too. Additionally, people visit nursing home and spend time with the old.
People think about their family and have thankful heart. They make themselves a promise that they will remember the feeling of love for the whole year.
