Cho-Yong-Pil who is called 'king of music' was selected as one of the 48 heroes of philanthropy. He rents his house. But he donated about 7million dollars. According to Fobes, he donated $5.5 million from concert proceeds, dividends from his YPC Production and a $2 million from inheritance from his wife. His wife died in 2003 because of a heart attack. And he donated all money from the interitance to fight heart diseases children. In 2009, he set up a school for childhood cancer patient and poor children.
Recently, he ranked first, in Billboard K-POP chart with the song 'Bounce'.
