A team from Gumsan Elementary School in Paju was the big winner in the world’s largest creative thinking and problem solving competition, Destination Imagination Global Finals 2013. The three day Globals were held May 22-25 at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, Tenn.).

Gumsan Elementary School took first place in the `Instant challenge champion`.
Instant challenge is to solve a problem in a creative way using the given ingredients in a short time.
Minhu Yeo (D.C.T.) said, `I want to thank my teammates who had a hard time with me for 5 months. Through this competition I learned important teamwork`

Destination Imagination Global Finals is the culminating events of over 2500 teams from 20 countries gather to showcase their Challenge solutions. Over 30,000 people attend Global Finals to celebrate creativity and have fun.
There were 35teams in Korea and Gumsam elementary and Munsanjeil high school got prizes.
