On May 1th, the 11th Paju book festival has begun. It had lot of fun activities such as meeting the author of a book, selling and displaying books from various publishing companies, and a book playroom for little kids.

There were lots of publishers. There were companies popular for kids, such as Sigong Junior, the company who published and , companies that published educational books such as Joongang Entrance Examination and Education Researcher, and companies that sold comic books such as Kim Young Publisher.
Also, there were companies that published for students studying foreign language. Darakwon published English, Chinese, and Japanese books.

The festival also had a picnic concert, woodwork with dads, music books, a shuttle bus, and a store that sold postcards and notebooks. In my opinion, the book festival is very useful for kids and for adults to get their attention on books.
