Honey from Lacquer trees!!! 2013-06-26 ¿ÀÀü 8:40:00

Have you ever heard of or seen Lacquer trees? They are usually used to paint funiture or to make something in construction sites. We can hardly see the flowers of Lacquer trees because the trees get cut off 5~6 years after being planted.

However the flowers of Lacquer trees are in full blossom thesedays. You can see lots of rice-sized greenish flowers in a small mountain area in Wonjoo. Flowers attract bees. Do you know what that means? We can collect honey from them. The flowers only last for 1 week.

Hey! bees~ Keep up the good work!! It is only a matter of time that we can taste yummy sweet Lacquer tree honey in our house. How exciting!!
