In a barbaric Saturday night, France officially declared a national state of emergency. It was a bloodshed. Over 128 people were killed and at least 180 people were severly injured. People were shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris. The assaults unfolded at various locations throughout the French capital and its suburbs, among them restaurants, a popular nightclub, and a soccer stadium. where the match France vs Germany was taking place. Seven suspects are dead, six from blowing themselves up, authorities said, and one shot by police. Their attacks all began around 9:30 pm.

The near simultaneous attacks in Paris that killed at least 128 people were an act of war organised by the IS militant group, French President Francois Hollande says. He also mentioned to the state that the attacks, carried out by eight gunmen and suicide bombers, were organised and planned from outside. The targets included bars, restaurants, a concert and a high-profile football match. IS claimed the attacks.

Paris was in lockdown on Saturday, with department stores, cinemas, museums and tourist attractions including Disneyland Paris closed for the day. Many of the city¡¯s street markets the staple of the Parisian residents weekend shopping were also reported to be closed on the day after the attacks. Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, asked residents to stay indoors. All schools, libraries, public swimming pools and other public services were also closed on Saturday.
