Factory farming should be banned!! 2013-06-30 ¿ÀÀü 8:55:00

There are lots of arguments about factory farming. Here, Joathan Safran Foer and George Orwell is talking about it.
¡°Needless to say, jamming deformed, drugged overstressed birds together in a filthy, waste-coated room is not very healthy. Beyond deformities, eye damage, blindness, bacterial infections of bones, slipped vertebrae, paralysis, internal bleeding, anemia, slipped tendons twisted lower legs and necks, respiratory diseases, and weaked immune systems are frequent and long-standing problems on factory farms¡±
- Jonathan Safran Foer -

¡° Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all animals.
- George Orwell -

Jonathan Safran Foer¢¥s quotation means animals from factory farms is not healthy, problems releated to hygeian are frequent and long-standing issue. George Orwell¢¥s quotation means mans is the only creature that consumes without producing. But mans are lord of the animal, they are permitted to rule the animals. And I also agree with Joathan Safran Foer¢¥s quotations. We should not do factory farming.
For the reasons, factory farming is harmful to the environment. Waist and run-off produced by factory farms pollunates the environment and water tables in surrounding areas. This is dangerous, and takes unnessary risks for the long-term health of the country. When you waste animal¢¥s secreation, the impurities came out and pollunates. Wastes contains lots of harmful impurities such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, that they are called as green house gases. If there is a increase in green house gases in the amount of air, it results desertification, and global warming. The USDA reports that animals in the US meat industry produce 61 million tons of waste each year, which is 130 times the volume of human wastes- or five tons for every US citizen.
For another reasons, since factory farmin are vey harmful, the government should not provide subsidies for the industry. The government should looking to fund new technology for future generations. By just funding factory farms, they are sending the wrong message about how food preparation should be going forward into the future. According to a study conducted at Johns Hopkins University, almost 30% of agricultural subsidies go to the top two percent of farms and over four-fifths to the top 30%. This leaves very little funding for other types of food production.
For example, There is a farm that does factory farming. Wastes that is produced during raising animals are let in the environment without purification.
For evidence, the factory farming pollunates water nearby according to www.create.debate. And methane which are emisson from factory farming has more than 20times higher than carbon dioxide for the warming potential of CO2. The use of fossil fuel use in factory farming to feed for food emits 90 million tons of CO2 every year, from www. dosomething.org.
For these reasons, factory farming should be banned. I hope governments should work hard to reduce the factory farming. There are many other ways to avoid many people¢¥s hunger, they can eat bugs.
Tip!! because of the factory farming, hens can live for18 month.
