The Ultimate Human Deed, ¡°Eudaimonia" 2021-04-15 ¿ÀÈÄ 3:50:00

The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle once declared the ultimate human value. Back then, he designated such a value should be universal and comprehensive. In other words, all the communities should agree with this idea, and there shall be no rebuttal that such a deed should be altered. Indeed, there are insurmountable numbers of values, though such values may be different depending on individuals¡¯ philosophies. In the midst of coexistence of all the values, Aristotle asserted that the value should be ¡°happiness.¡±
True, every human being sustains his or her lives in order to fulfill the happiness: possibly, he or she would like to maximize the level of happiness. All the trivial and huge actions can be linked to one word, happiness, as well. The gist of accomplishing happiness does not solely depend on the outcome. However, instead, all the means and methods to gain happiness can be counted. Perhaps, the first and foremost principle to acquire happiness would be not incurring harms on others.
Feeling satisfied is one of the signals which can lead one to feel happy. Working hard and earring income in order to purchase some objects could be classified as one of the signals as previously mentioned. Volunteering and donating some talents or money can obviously be related to the idea of grasping happiness as well.
The very definition of Eudaimonia is ¡°happiness.¡± Aristotle defined this as the ultimate human good, which is placed on the highest level. It is a universal idea, and at the same time, it is a non disputable concept. Since it is the utmost human value, it would be worthwhile for individuals to seek deeply about the fundamental causes which comprise this value.
The intrinsic meaning of happiness is attributed to its definition in a straightforward manner. Eventually, no one wants to be doomed, but he or she wants to live a meaningful and a proactive life. Furthermore, human beings initially deserve to be respected by others. Such a meaning can cast a profound implication on human beings. Furthermore, as more individuals feel happy, the degree of positivity is likely to be incremental. In this sense, positivity and happiness are clearly interrelated concepts. Positive mindsets spur a long lasting inspiration in one¡¯s minds. Not limited to this, positivity can help one to overcome ordeals and hardships for the betterment of his or her future.
To conclude, though the concept of Eudaimonia was presented in an ancient period, still, such a value is bringing a huge power in this modern society. While some view this as a mere wisdom presented by the ancestors, others may consider this as an in depth analysis which still poses significant meanings in our lives.
