Movie 'Incredibles 2' Creates Controversy 2018-07-08 ¿ÀÈÄ 11:48:00

The 'Incredibles 2,' a follow-up of the movie 'Incredibles,' the movie of a superhero family released in 2004 which has recorded a box office hit, was released in June 5, 2018 in Los Angeles. Although the movie has already smashed box office records, it gets criticisms from anxious parents.

The movie includes several occasional swear words; a parent commented on the film, saying the words'hell' and 'damn' were both in the movie and couldn't accept it used in a kids' movie. One Reddit user viewed the movie showed a skeptical behavior in sharing his thoughts about the movie, saying that he also found an unfinished curse word.

'Incredibles 2' was also criticized due to its strobe lighting animation. Veronica Lewis, a twitter user, have posted a warning on Twitter and her blog. The warning posted online went viral, stating that "'Incredibles 2' is filled with tons of strobe/flashing lights that can cause issues for people with epilepsy, migraines, and chronic illness." She also said that a movie targeted at kids should provide warnings about the strobe lighting effects and the potential for seizures and other adverse effects.

Meanwhile, Brad Bird, the director of 'Incredibles 2', argues that the movie wasn't specifically targeted at children. He quoted a tweet complaining towards him; Bird replied that the movie wasn't a "kids movie" and rated PG. In overall, the director insists the 'Incredibles 2' is not for kids.
