A science festival will open at Cheonggye elementary school, April 15th, Friday. This festival is held to celebrate the science day, April 21st, 2016. 5~6 grade students who go to Cheonggye elementary school can volunteer to join the festival. The students can join into 6 kinds of events: mechanical engineering, aerospace, fusion science, science debate, natural observation, and science experiment.

For the fusion science event, students need to think of an idea to solve problems in our life. The idea of the invention has to use not only science area, art, music, and math area.

For the science debate event, volunteers have to debate with others about insect based foods. They have to suggest the best insect for insect based foods.

Lastly, for the science experiment, the participants should design a creative experiment about a theme in the 6th grade science book. The team who designs and did the most creative work will go to the competition which will be held by the province as a representative. The events will be held in the classes of the duty teacher.

6th grade Shin ji yoo said it is hard to prepare for the science experiment because she has to study all the parts of 6 grade 1st semester science. She is studying hard because it is a new experience, and she wants to try it.
